my girlfriend penny is from melbourne and she has met this sydney guy, she has already told me she will move up to sydney and wants to get married within the year. She is already up in sydney every weekend told him kodak australia can't afford to pay for acommodation so has to move into his place. He guy has bipolar and had cancer and she doesnt' care just wants a baby. The relationship is only 3 weeks old.
Shall I interfere and say something ? He is from a very wealthy family and said she will get the ring on her finger by the end of the year.. .. she is being a ***** and I dont; know what to do..

It sounds like she has her mind set and nothing you say or do will change it. If what you're saying about this man is true, he might be after the same thing, a baby. His brush with death could have made him re-evaluate his priorities in life and realize that a child is his means to "immortality", so to speak. Also, the fact that the relationship is a mere three weeks along and he is willing to have her cohabitate with him shows he is out for the same thing as her.
Your best bet? You can tell her how you feel, ONCE. If she still decides to go through with the relationship, be there as a friend. You can't change the mind of two adults, especially those set in their ways. Good luck. :)

There's not much you can do except support her. She sounds like she's on a mission to have a kid no matter what. In a way, that's very selfish of her. The guy has a say so in the matter as well. Sounds like she thinks this wealthy guy will be her ticket to easy street. She's got some issues, that's for sure.
It's best if you just back off and let her crash & burn. Sounds kinda mean but, she's not going to listen to reason. She's got tunnel vision and nothing you say will change her mind. Odds are, things won't turn out the way she wants and she'll regret the things she's doing. All you can do is continue to be her friend and support her or cut her off entirely if you don't want to deal with the situation. Either way, sounds like your friend needs some professional help. She's being very careless & selfish.

It's really not ur place to say anything. Just let her **** up her own life and watchs others crumble. When she comes crying to you, dont even bother.
She's a gold digger, what a ***** thing to do to someone. That man has had cancer, and has problems. She is just going to take everything he has right out from under him.

Time to go meet another woman or just be single who cares. You gotta be a man and let her go. Why would you want to be with a woman who left you for another guy. Let her have kids and guess what it probably wont work between them. Then she will come crawling back, thats when you say NO way, shoot i aint taken care of some other guy's seed.

If it were my friend I think I would just ask her,"You do realize that..." and after she says,"yes" to it all then back off and be supportive. Then when she falls flat on her face(which it sounds like she will) you can be there to help pick up the pieces.Thats what girlfriends do. It sux sometimes to watch them mess up but just be there for her.

sounds like she is entering into hell willingly. My guess is that she is the type of person that is drawn to disfunction. He will probably end up treating her like garbage, abusing her and who knwos what else. She doesn't care that he is unstable? Poor child that is brough into this world in that situation. Boy oh boy....
