Peace.

Pehaps you should consider seeing a doctor... for you not the child.

There are much worse things than being afraid of cows... unless you live on a farm with cows, he probably will not be exposed to them that often and should be allowed to be afraid of them. If he is exposed to cows a lot, however, you should help alleviate his fear by showing him that YOU are not afraid of cows, not by forcing him to have cow toys in his room

Why??? why does he have to overcome this fear? Do you live on a farm? Is he exposed to cows in his daily life? What the heck, I would of died if my mother would of made me have a picture of a clown or a clown doll in my room. Those things are creepy.
Let it be. My kids were all afraid of Chuck E. Cheese, I didn't make them have one in their room. They got over it and can know visit the giant rat and enjoy their pizza.

No way!!! My daughter got a chicken dance elmo whan she was 14 months...she hated it......we tried and tried and tried everything to get her to like it. She's 5 now and if we pull it out, she cries and screams. She is still terrified. Hopefully he'll grow out of it. could you provide age? and did he have a bad experience with a cow? I'd let it be what it is and with time and following his lead introduce him back to the animal.

dude, putting a cow in his room is nigh on to impossible to say nothing of the further trauma you may cause. This is a trick ?

Nope..My ex let my 6 year old watch Chuckie...She told me to remove her dolls...And after time she was okay...She don't go to her dads no more...But I would have never put a clown doll in her room...Just give him some time...Gee example...Do you like spiders(or something you just don't like)? How about your spouse thinks you need to get over it ? And puts one on your night stand?

Good-Luck But.... Let your kid call the shot on his own fears...

i think you should bring him to a petting zoo and let him pet a cow. you can't be a radical or he will just be more afraid. slowly is better than going too quick

don't force the issue you could tramatize that poor kid at such a young age. plus he probably won't sleep at night with it in the room. i agree with the person that said to take him to a petting zoo and ease him into the situation.

Why force the issue? At this stage he's not gonna become a cowboy, anyway.
