I am am dealer. Take the sticker price and multiply it times 88.3%. Try to pay that less any rebates or incentives. That will be about cost on the car. Dealers are not in business to lose money, they will not sell a car for less that they have to pay for it, no matter who the buyer is. Never trade in a vehicle to the dealer, sell it to someone and take the cash with you to buy the new car. The advertised prices are just a joke among dealers to get the suckers in. If they ever had that car it is a very low end model or when you arrive at the dealership, "It was just sold". Good luck - Gary

Usually the $17000 mustang is a come on (as advertised in newspapers).. either it's a program (read used), last years model, a car they added all the rebates to to make the price look cheaper or is a car already rolled up to the invoice price on a base model (think v-6 no-abs and a manual transmission) to get people in and get them on the added values when you are about to sign on the dotted line if they haven't talked you into the loaded $25,000 car yet (which is usually the case)...

My guess is take invoice (which you can guess at online at say kbb.com) add all rebates and such and add about $1000.. and that's about what you'll pay with taxes...

You add discounts together so it would be dealership discounts+D plan + any Ford employee specials (usually $500 for certain new cars only certain months). Yes it's very possible you can save that much.

I kinda doubt you will get a new mustang for 13-14 k, If you do it will have 4 cylinders and no back seat.
