Becoming a mother is a decision that can never be made to lightly, it takes a responsible person, one ready to give up themselves fully for the new creation that has developed out of the love two people feel for each other.
I applaude your decision, many others should feel the same, avoiding bringing unhappiness and fear into this world. Because a mother who is not ready for what motherhood entails will not be happy and therefore their child will lack in that happiness. And there is nothing more fearful than not knowing.
Preparation is the key, you have made a great decision, and when and if you are ready, you will be ready.
God bless you always.

If you don't become a mother you will miss out on the chance to have some of the most beautiful, happy, and fulfilling experiences a woman can ever know. But also you will not have the chance for some of the most heartbreaking, sad, and painful experiences a woman can ever know.

It is your decision to make. The only truly bad decision is to let someone else make it for you.

by the way, did you do something new with your hair? You look so different! lol.

My daughter always said she didn't ever want to be a mother. She met her future husband at age 19 and they married ten years later. All this time she was certain she would never have a child.

Two years ago she changed her mind (I'd been praying that she would!) Now I have a lovely little granddaughter of 9 months and she is a much better mother than my ex was to her!

Only you can answer that. I never thought I wanted to be a mother, then I hit 27years and the maternal part of me went into overdrive. I would take your decision one day at a time and not resort to permanant steralization until your at least 35years. - Mom of five.
If you are pregnant already and don't want to be a mother then please consider adoption, there are many people who want a child and you can even hand pick the parents.

Hi, I feel that not wanting to be a mother is a normal feeling. I was pregnant at 16 so naturally, I didn't want to be a mother. But I went through with it and I don't regret it one bit. But again, it is your choice. Just whatever you decide, make sure that you won't regret it.

there are some women who end up being pregnant when they aren't ready to take that step in life. but things happen. what you have in your belly is a blessing. why? because it is yours. it is someone who will depend on you, someone who will need you and someone who will love you forever. this is a big step and a most frightening to those who don't feel they are up to motherhood. trust me, i get doubts in my head and i'm currently 14 weeks along now. this too shall pass. there will be stresses like sleepless nights, screaming baby, mood swings because you want to do things that you want to do and not have to worry about this other little person. but once you first feel that flutter, that kick or when you have that child in your arms and he or she is looking at you for the first time, you will do anything for that beautiful gift. not all women are natural mothers. some need guidance. trust your instincts and most importantly, take care of you and your baby. good luck.

Yes, because you made the decision. Why would you be concerned about what other people say about your decision?

wait and see. you might not want to now but you may want to in a few years. no one can tell you what to do because it is your choice so go with what you think is right but keep your options open because if you get your utarus removed and in 5 years you want to have kids you won't be able to. it is a huge choice so think about it carefully.
