How many of you have read the bible from start to finish? And have you done it more than once?

I have, several times actually. I also took Biblical literature and religious literature classes in college.

It's part of the reason why I get annoyed when Christians tell me that if I'd just read the Bible, I'd believe as they do.

I have and yes more than once. Some books mostly the New Testament have been read so many times almost too numerous to count. I'm guessing some books I have ready perhaps 10 - 20 times. The least read books of the Bible for me are Deuteronomy and Leviticus.

I have read the Bible from start to finish once within the last year.

There are a few books in the Bible I like to read over and over, such as Job, Eccl., Ruth, Acts, Matthew, Mark & Luke.

Yes I have read the Bible all the way through. And it only takes a year or less to read it. But to understand all of it, takes a life time.
I love the Bible. It is my favoret book.

I have read it several times all the way through and continue to do so on a regular basis. Applying everything I read is the hard part.

Yeah, a few times, but I'm old as dirt. I read OT and then NT basically. I don't just read it through. Important thing is to understand it.

Read ing the old testiment is not a good way to learn. You need to study it and have someone help explain it. The New Testiment is easier to read and understand until you get to revelations.

My point is that you need to read the Bible a dozen times to really start to understand it.

I've read it all twice, and a few sections a dozen times.
