Im looking to break up with my gf but she has said she will kill herself if she ever lost me, I dont want that with me for the rest of my life, but i know that i dont wanna be with her anymore.

Tell her that you have been unable to come to terms with your internal struggle until now. Confess that you are totally gay and would like to keep her as a close friend to help you transition towards your sex change.

How unfair to you! I had a boyfriend tell me once that he would have nothing to live for if it weren't for me. I told him where to go and he's still alive. It's completely irresponsible and reprehensible for someone to hold you hostage with that kind emotional blackmail.
And, just for the record, if she were to kill herself...it would not be your fault in any way, shape, or form. That is a completely personal decision that has nothing to do with anyone but the person committing the act.

Okay, I know some of this may be irrelevant to you; however I am a Death Investigation major. Whenever someone mentions suicide you should get them help immediately, it does not matter whether they are joking or not. Even if she is joking...she should still talk to someone about it. Even you can talk to someone about this and if she has certain symptoms give or take then she could in fact be suicidal. But no matter what anyone on here says (myself included) get her help. sounds like she just pulling a guilt trip on you, man. YOu don't need to deal with that! Let her know that you still want to be her friend and will be there for her. That may make her feel a little better. But don't let what she said get under your skin. She knows what strings to pull. If you let her win, this won't be the last time she will pull a stunt like this.

mmmm.. i feel you, but she wont kill herself. I know TONS of girls who said the same thing, but never killed themselves.
Dont stay with someone if you don't want to be with them.
Tell her parents that she's unstable, but don't stay with her..
