the night before a major test, 4 college buddies decide to go for a night of fun down at the local bar. needless to say, all 4 of them got really drunk and overslept the next day running into class when the test was already halfway through. needing a proper excuse, 1 of the guys says that they had gotten a flat tire on the way that morning, the professor reluctantly excepts this and tells them all to come back the next day to make it up. upon returning for the make up, the professor places each of the 4 guys in separate corners of the room for the test. the test runs smoothly until nearly the end when one by one, each guy gets to the last problem on the paper. this problem appeared to be hand written by the professor as an after thought and was supposed to be easy enough.
it simply said: "which tire was flat?"

i have been in a situation like this before (not on a exam).......what the students should have done was to discuss this problem among themselves before showing up for class and agree on which tire was flat in case somebody was suspicious...in regards to the professor's question of "which tire was flat", leave it blank...just pretend that you didnt see the question or that you forgot to answer it on your sheet......besides, missing one question is alot better than knowing full well that you lied in order to take a re-test.
