When I think of missionaries, I think of Africa and Asia primarily, since those are the places I have personally most heard of in missionary stories.
Does anyone know of any statistics on what areas of the world the most Christian missionaries are sent to (or where the most missions are carried out)?
Links/sources would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know about lots of missionaries...however I spent 8 1/2 years in Covanant Players which is a Christian Drama ministry and travels all over the world....you can check out where the units are currently serving in the us and around the world by going to www.covenantplayers.org
And you can ask Holy Lamb (you can get to him through the contacts on my profile page) He is a missionary to Brazil.

my guess would be: wherever the greatest number of children are who can be exploited, abused and brainwashed. that's where you'll find the most christian missionaries.
