Drunk as a skunk if you just gulp it down, since you haven't built up a tolerance to alcohol. Not to mention a 40 oz is alotta beer.
It'll also get you sick the next day. A hang over is such an ugly thing. If you're going to drink the 40, do so in moderation and you'll still be up having a blast rather than throwing up in the toilet or all over the place. Nasty and a big ole turn off if others are around. Nothing is worse than lying still, but still feeling as if you're spinning in your bed.
I've been drunk before and it's such a horrid feeling lol.

Probably. A lot also depends on your weight, age, and how well your body accepts alcohol. Because you've never drank before, you will also notice the affects a lot more than someone who has drank for a while. Take it slow and just enjoy it.
