In a nutshell:
best friends for 3 years, just recently found out we've liked each other the whole time but didn't know. feelings are mutual BUT decided not to risk everything now and have a relationship. Said he wanted a "long lasting real serious" one when the right time comes - not now.

He's HAPPY that we're best friends again because he said he can "talk to me about everything and anything again" and not like before where he didn't know what to do, say, and was more nervous around me. He mentioned (hinted) that beautiful girls intimedate boys and says that guys always check me out b/c i have "looks". He "fishes" for answers to see if i'm interested in anyone. He says, "would u get mad if i went out w. someone in a month, 2 months?" just to get my reaction - he responded, "if i ever break up with someone, at least you'll still always be here"
when i said, "everything's gonna be normal again - guys will be at me & you'll be the friend always there" - he sounded sad...

**** he's the "shy boy" type*****

oh yeah and i think he's trying to get over me by talking to his old crushes (even though they are taken) because he knows i can bounce back easily with other guys...he loves our history - turns out this whole time we've sercretly admired each other but never knew it...i think he wants to make more history with me...

he truely cares for you, wants to be with you but hes too shy to make a move,if you think youre right for each other maybe you should make the first move.

I think you should just try and have a relationship with him ( meaning more than friends). Sounds like you two could be good together but you will never no unless you try..
