Will one 40oz get me tipsy or drunk if i am new

40oz of what? 40 oz of beer - maybe a little giddy, 40 oz of vodka could kill you.

Probably. Tolerance has more to it than body size, my friend Freddy is about a foot taller and 100 pounds heavier than me but he can't drink half of what I can.
If you are a new drinker and average size then a 40 will get you very tipsy especially if drank fast. Pour into a cup, that way you can drink faster and keep the bottle in the fridge so your beer doesnt get warm.
Drunk may be pushing it, a 40 is only about 3 and a quarter beers. Slam the 40 and then maybe yeah. But tipsy you will be. Less you eat the more you will feel.

How tipsy or drunk you get depends on your size. I'm a bigger person and 3 beers will get me tipsy. 40s are usually for ppl who drink all the time and can handle a LOT of booze. Always eat and have a full stomach before you drink. Try stuff ike bread, crackers and other absorbent foods if you want to drink more and not get too tipsy or sick. No matter what your first time drinking you will probably get a little more than tipsy by not knowing your limits. A lot of times alcohol doesn't affect you until you stand up! Hope everything is legal!

One 40oz could very possibly give you a little buzz, especially if you have never taken a drink before. It also depends on how fast you drink the 40, and how much you weigh, also how much you have eaten.
