Oh good heavens. Geography certainly isn't a requirement for the CSU system, is it?

If you are visiting Humboldt State, you are in ARCATA, California. That is very far north of Los Angeles (and yet, you posted this in LA travel??? You obviously have no clue where you are!).

I'd recommend you check out some of the microbreweries, but you must not be old enough to drink. Instead, enjoy some of the nice scenery in the area, go chill out some place woodsy and quiet.

And rethink your college choices. If you are bored during a couple days visiting Humboldt, imagine how MISERABLE you're going to be spending 4 years there!

If you are here to visit Humboldt State University, you are about 700 miles to far to the south. This section is for questions about the Los Angeles area. Humboldt State is near Arcata near the Oregon border.

Darling dear, there is a difference between Arcata and Arcadia...I believe you are in Arcata.

Who can be bored in a college-town??? Go to the University, check out the bulletin boards and see where the action is...or check out craigslist for that area, and see what community events are going on. Lastly, check out your local newspaper, college or town paper, and see what's coming up on their calendar.
