there is this guy, i like him alot and i know he likes me too but he is playing had to get and i just want to know how to make him crack and just start dating me...yes i have already made a move on him but that didnt work, is there anything else i have to do to make him quit playing hard to get?

you have made it clear to the guy you want him as more than a friend? yes then if the guy has not made a move back, may be he is not interested in dating you. he could be already in a commited relationship. he may be gay. or he may not fancy you.
there is nothing you can do if he does not fancy you and has not made any moves to get to date you.
he may as you say like you but as nothing more than friends. if you want more than friends you will have to risk looking desperate and talk to him clearly and calmly what you feel and what you want from him and where you are hoping your current friendship will lead.
Now having made your feelings 100% crystal clear (no ums and ers, no ambiguity whatsoever) be prepared for his rejection or surprised acceptance. though he may even say he needs time to think.
most guys if single and are available would need only a couple of minutes or less to decide to date a woman they were sexualy attracted to!
not knowing you or him it is hard to give good clear advice that is guaranteed to work.
all anyone can tell you is talk it out with the guy in crystal clear english. no double meanings and no subliminal body language!
he may be attracted to your body and not your personality. or the otherway around. sadly unless he is attracted to both a real man will not date a woman he is not attracted to even if she is in to him.

Ignore him completely for a day or two, see if he comes running back to you, or what. Guys like a challenge, they like the pursuit. If you're a "sure thing", he's not going to value you, or work hard to impress you or be with you. Let him make the next move.

I am in the same situation as your in. Don't let him take contral of you or anything. Refuse in cute way if he asks you something, make him to do for you what he may doesn't really like. if he really likes you, he will do it for you. Just make sure when you ask or refuse, talk really nice.
then he can't play hard to get because he will have to be in your pace.if it didn't work he may be not interested in you.
