I dont understand whats wrong with dating?

Ok so my "girlfriend" isnt allowed to date so we were "dating" for like a few weeks. So today we were just sitting next to each other and shes like 'im tired' and so she puts her head on my shoulder and her friend comes over and shes like awwwww u guys should hold hands so we do. After school she comes over to me hugs me and gives me a note and she says 'dont read it until ur alone' so when i get home i read it and it says shes scared of her mom finding out what were doing so she says we shouldnt hold hands or any of that just hug. First i was really sad then i got like pissed off. so basically i just want to know what could be bad w/ dating. Somebody come up with one good reason that dating is bad for me. thnx

Dating isn't exactly "bad" for you but it's obvious her family has rules. Perhaps you should keep it to just hugs until she is old enough to date.

You don't want her parents to dislike you so always remain respectful of their rules. There's always masturbation, lol.

Ok from what you wrote it sounds like her parents are not allowing her to date for the same reasons my parents told me I wasn't allowed to date (but I did anyways). I wasn't formally allowed to date until I was 16, because for some reason, my mom thought that was a reasonable age for me to begin "dating".
So your girlfriend being scared that her parents will find out is acceptable, but at the same time, she pretty much took you for a ride because she doesn't know what she wants.
May I suggest that you do the gentleman thing and go talk with her parents. Ask them formally, and respectfully, to date their daughter. Clearly state your intentions, you like her, she likes you, and you would like to get to know her better, and that you would, in no way, disrespect their daughter or their family.
If that doesn't work, or you feel that its not going to work and don't do it, then wait it out and wait until you guys are a little bit older and ready to make that kind of relationship work.

There was nothing at all wrong with dating.
I have been going out with my boyfriend for nearly 7months.
But i dont understand why her mum thinks dating is bad?
Maybe she thinks its about the sex, that's all my parents think my relationship is about.
Maybe talk to her and see exactly what it is her mum See's so bad in dating.
