I love that toy! But, my son will be 1 in 2 weeks and I've put him on my friend's little girl's zebra and he can't really do it yet, and he's a big boy and runs everywhere. So far I've got my son the Little People touch and feel Noah's Ark, the Weebles Castle, and a plastic Tonka truck. A really great toy for a boy or girl would be the Drop and Roar Dinosaur, it retails for about the same price as the Zebra.

My Little girl got the bouce and swing zebra that you sit on for her first birthday. She did'nt use it for about 2 weeks i kept putting her on it. Now 1 month later she gets on and off by herself and loves it. Its a great gift ides. and great for balance and gross motor skills.

It took my daughter a few days and now she hope right on and off(she is 13 months old) Even my 3 yr old loves it

they wont be able to use it to much at first but will figure it out quicker once it's had
