The skin on my face is flaky with like this white residue. I don't know if it's dry or just flaky. I tried moisturizers and they seem to cover it up, but once I get out the shower they little white flakes/ residue is there. I have oily skin too, by the way. What is this exactly? Does anyone have an idea?

Ahhh moisturize lotsssss. Dont use soap!! I have combonation skin which is oily and dry. Soap just sucks the moisture out of your skin! So avoid that. Drink LOTS of water, could be dehydration!

Well, it could be some kind of skin condition. But maybe you just need to exfoliate. Even scrubbing it with a wet washcloth and then moisturizing might help.

Stop eating fried foods. Stop eating chocolate. Stop touching your face. Drink lots of water and find yourself a good multivitamin at GNC. Slam it. Two a day even though it says once. Stop make-up if you're female, stop touching your face if you're male. Quit your job as a fry cook. Don't drink Mountain Dew or anything with caffeine like Red Bull. Do this and drink a gallon of Spring water this week and then it will clear.
