From a seasoned dieter: I could write 100 diet books with 100 plans.

What you have to do is eat less but in a way that keeps you from starving. There is absolutely no science behind eating X times a day or even eating breakfast. There was one nonrandomized, nonrepeated study where impoverished school children were fed breakfast and did better in school. Previously they had been starving. This is where that crazy idea about eating breakfast comes from. In another study, obese people who did not eat breakfast and began eating breakfast, lost weight; in the same study, thin people gained weight when they added breakfast. For some people, six meals a day is not the way to go. Eating does NOT stimulate the metabolism all that much. You need to find a plan that you can stick with for life. Three meals a day is not a bad way to go, but you'd have to find out how to portion your calories so you're not starving and don't overeat. It will take time, experimentation. Keep a journal of when you eat and what you eat. Keep track of the calories if you can, not purposely cutting back. Do this for a week or so. Look and see where you can cut 250 - 500 calories a day. Figure out what your problem foods are. I have chocolate everyday but I don't eat pizza with cheese everyday because it's very caloric. But if you love pizza, you can cut some other caloric food. Balance.

Exercise. Intense exercise will increase hunger, not decrease it. Be aware that women have a tendency to outeat our energy needs after exercising. Mother Nature doesn't want us to lose fat. Exercise is not the way to lose exercise unless you are committed to busting your backside 90 to 120 minutes a day. What happens if you stop exercising? Weight gain. Exercise is very important for health and weight maintenace. If you walk 4 miles, you might think you are burning 400 calories. Well, not exactly. You have to subtract out your basic metabolic rate, so you might only burn 150 - 200 calories.

That is unhealthy. Your best bet on losing weight, and sticking with the diet is to eat small meals six times a day. A typical meal would be all the veggies you want, steamed or baked (no salt), two ounces of lean meat broiled, baked,or grilled and lots of water. Add two 1/2 cup servings of rice or potato at lunch and dinner or before you exercise.
This will help you lose weight, I promise. It helps keep your metabolism up so you burn more fat and you won't starve.

wow, don't you fell suffered when you do that? do you've got any progress right now? i also overweight, and i'm in my diet right now, but not as extremly as you've. i do an acupuncture therapy, it takes only 15 minutes each, and i just have to do it once a week. the doctor give me some drugs that i've to taken before meals. and for tha diet i only have to reduce a half of my regular meal, and for the snack i only allow to eat vegetables and low callories fruits, and drink a lot of water. it doesn't take a long time and unexpensive either, because i only have to pay about $4.50. the result that i,ve got, in my first week i've lost 2kgs and 2 cms of my size

instead of some weird diet that might lose you a few pounds that youll gain back just as quick, make healthy choices when you can and educate yourself so you know what food is about and what is in it. learn what makes a healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. drink lots of water. this will be way easier to do - litle by little making good choices to improve your health.

Just watch out what the snacks are. Instead of eating on large meal a day, you might do better eating at least three small meals a day.

that is completely unhealthy. that could lead to serious things, a good way to tell if the way your trying to lose weight, is if your instantly making drastic changes in your life. Most likely what will happen is that, you will just go back to your old lifestyle or it could lead to something more serious, usually the first more then the last.
