Hi i have recently bought vista and i am very dissapointed of this window, I installed the 32 bit nvidia driver for my geforce 7900 GT (Graphic card) and i can't seem to find a nvidia icon anywhere on my taskbar not like XP it displays it. Im not sure if the nvidia graphic card driver even got installed. I have a A8N-SLI premiun, i went on the asus website for drivers and they didn't have vista.. How can vista be running on my motherboard with out the drivers? i have a feeling theres going to be problems once i start playing games like counter-strike source. Can anyone help me ? i have vista ultimate 32 bit and im looking for a working 7900 gt Vista driver, also my motherboard (A8N-SLI Premium) thanks. btw when i installed the vista geforce vga driver it gave me a black screen with a underscore flashing and told me to restart was that a sign of an error?

Stay with xp because some drivers are still not compatible with vista I would wait at least 6-8 months

Vista is so dissapointing . XP is so much better . Of cause there asus don't have vista yet , not many company are providing the updates for vista yet , they have to see the market and i believe not many people are using vista , it just sux . you should have waited a little longer until all the updates are up then buy vista .

I believe there won't be a problem when you play game , a friend of mine got vista with no update driver and he is fine . not sure about yours though .

Good luck mate .

I don't care really I don't.
I said this a million times already.
1. XP is faster and better then vista and it always will be cry all you want it wont change the facts.
2. Nothing is compatible with vista not even my HP keyboard
3. You will NOT get a refund

my motherboard (A8N-SLI Premium) SO WHAT?

MS have pretented to show by using terms like vista ready & packing features that people don't realy need & using catch words like "killer product" with complete abandon when in fact it has been a complete DUD!
