I don't need to ask. Both male AND female are created in His image, which gives me my first clue.
Also, the Hebrew name "El Shaddai" literally translates into ...the many-breasted G-d, so there's another clue.
G-d has attributes of both genders.

The God of the Bible is predominantly male. Careful biblical scholarship shows that He evolved from a tribal god of the Hebrews to The One true God.
Only one of his names El-Shaddai, "The many-breasted one" hints at the feminine attribute. Consider the other names and attribute: the personal god of Abraham and his immediate descendants, The LORD (Adonai), The Lord of Hosts (Armies), The Creator and Destroyer god of the flood (El).

Are you based in northern NJ...because I have been stopped all over the place with people asking me the same question...like, almost everywhere I go.
I think God is not a gendered being, but more like a spirit, who is in everything...in trees, in the ocean, and most of all in our hearts.

He made Adam in His image, after that He took Eve from Adam's side. Soooo if He created Adam in His image before He created Eve, He has both male and female spiritual characteristics.

God is a man because He created man in His image, and all throughout the Bible it say He and His, and Jesus called him Father. He always said My father.

I don't have to. If one believes, and one reads one's Bible, it says that in God there is no male or female. However, I don't believe there is a God, so to me the gender question is moot.

You know what, I do not care if God is male, female or indifferent. All I know He has been better than the best to me and I love Him, because He first loved me.

I am confused as to the relevance of that. " Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God". Remember the commandments?

From what I have thought, he would not lower him self to having a sex. We do refer to him in the masculine because when most of those books were written that was more honorable that feminine.
