i am about 5'3 and 150 pounds right now =/ its not all fat, i have some muscle, but i'd like a lean, toned, athletic look by june 2nd. here is what i plan to do

day 1
*10 minutes of yoga sun salutations
*20 minutes of pilates
*30 minutes of jogging; walking only if needed then going right back to jogging
*strength exercises (working arms, abs, and legs)

Yoga and Pilates are good to get you into shape, along with jogging, but you should also make sure to eat right (not *just* counting callories, but making sure to balance the food groups out).

It'll make you more slim and toned, yes, but you may not lose any weight. Remember - muscle weighs more than fat, so while you may look better on the mirror, the scale may show differently. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, so if you're going for inches, that'd be a good way to go.

Try to get onto some weight machines (if you're able) to substitute one of those days and, at the same time, even out your regimine.

If you can't get to any machines, try:
-Toe Lifts (Calves)
-Squats (Calves and Thighs)
-Sit-ups (Abs)
-Push-ups (Upper Arms)
-Pull-ups (Forearms)

Make sure to rotate those (as in do 10 reps at a time, then go on to the next exercise, then repeating the whole process) so you'll not get too winded doing any one thing.

One last thing; make SURE to drink enough water! If you don't, all those toxins you're working out will stay in your system and make you feel like crap, not to mention a bunch of other stuff that is NOT pleasant.

By walking you burn bf after only 5 minutes. Jogging and running adds 20 minutes to that. Youre better off WALKING than the others for that reason. Its because the biochemical reaction to burn fat for walking is far more simpler than the process for running....If you walk for a 1/2 hour you burn fat for 25 mins. If you run for the same time , you have 5 minutes of fat burning!

You look like you have the right idea. More muscle = more fat burning potential, so make sure you keep the strength training up. Mixing up your routine like you have is a great idea, keep your body challenged and you will see results!

Also you may want to review your diet. Make sure you make up the calories you are eating of heaps of veggies, complex carbs (brown rice, wheat pasta, beans etc) and good sources of protein (low fat dairy, lean meat, beans etc). Cut all simple carbs (white breads/pastas, sugary drinks, sweets etc) and you should be on the right track.

ANY workout plan is better than none. if youre going to be performing these types of workouts, make sure youre working yourself at a pretty good level. the cardinal rule is you should be able to talk but not be able to sing. also, for someone your size you should decrease your calorie intake. try reducing by about 250 a day and go from there.

yea. especially the dancing. dancing ballet or salsa or any kind of dancing gives you long toned lean muscles. another thing to do is run run run and do situps. if you don't like to do them i recommend the AB Lounge. it does wonders. i used to have a flabby belly (having kids will do that) and now i have a better flatter stomach than i did before i had the kids. also drink plenty of water and eat loads of veggies and fruit. protien also helps.

it incredibly is an old, uninteresting question. i'm in my view athletic and healthful sufficient to certainly compete in athletic competitions. maximum American women persons spend long hours working, blue or white collar jobs, and eat on the run. American food it fattier than different styles of food. people get lots of their energy from carbs and concern-loose sugars, which positioned on quite a number of weight. people spend very lots of their down time watching television, while people in different international places spend greater time and money on sporting events. many women persons do no longer come from a "artwork out" history or comprehend how or have time. A learn discovered that people are no longer getting fatter and extra and extra people are determining. Having lived international huge, i will say that the executive themes are what women persons do of their "downtime" and how many hours they artwork. i comprehend that American women persons artwork greater hours than maximum different women persons in the international, barring women persons in Japan (the place that is greater much less between those women persons who artwork) and South Korea. I certainly have lived around the globe and comprehend this to be genuine. American women persons are nevertheless good women persons. If do in comparison to us, wonderful, no prefer for remark.
