Ok, well, im sure many of you say that girls are just as jealous, and that may be true. but guys just seem to be so incredibly territorial. ive been dating this guy on and off for more than a year. at first we were really lovey dovery and close but soon enough i realized that he didnt want to be exclusive (yes hes a bit of a player and i dont know why im still dealing with him). but we're really close friends now and still hook up. BUT we're obviously not exclusive. i have seen text messages that indicates hes been with someone else. as much as i try, he will never admit anything, just avoids avoids avoids. but i slipped and let him know that i hooked up with someone too and he flipped out like i never saw him flip out. he was angry, was screaming, said he couldnt believe i would do that. basically just had a fit. what the hell? how does that make any sense? i told him he has really bad double standards and he admits that he does but doesnt care. whats up with this?

It's because they think they own their girlfriends/wives/daughters. I'm pretty sure it's impossible for them not to feel jealous, however there is a light. You have to train them from the very beginning not to show their jealousy/possessiveness.

Also, all guys (and many girls, but especially guys) seem to have double standards when it comes to what they can do and what their girlfriend can do. Example: I got a call to say hi from my ex, and my boyf flipped out. But he can get calls from his ex whom he was with for 4 years, and it's fine. Double standard. Just like your situation. The fact that your boyf actually acknowledged he's got double standards is quite amazing. They usually can't see it.

Dump this guy. He's committment phobic but more than likely just wants to play the field, and will probably keep doing it to you, end of story. Don't do the denial thing. You already know this is true.

My sister broke up with the most possessive Greek guy, so when she met this new guy she tried "the Rules" on him, and it has worked LIKE A CHARM I tell you. Get the book and try it. But don't bother with this guy, he's definitely not worth it!

i for my area do not think of that lesbians are jealous of right this moment men, they're certainly afraid of them because of fact they might doubtlessly thieve their companions from them as many lesbians frequently change back and forth a antagonistic to gay men. And specific, i think a good form of gay/transgender men are honestly jealous of eye-catching women human beings. in the event that they have been born heterosexual they might extremely view them as unique and eye-catching and eye-catching familiar. they might have considered different heterosexual men as threats and intensely be competing with them for the gorgeous ladies. yet extremely they view individuals of their very own race as unique yet venture their jealousy/envy onto women human beings because of fact they consistently have an edge over them in terms of male sexual companions. an eye-catching woman is maximum probable going to have extra sexual adventure with the two eye-catching heterosexual men than a gay guy. So besides the fact that if, gay men are very jealous of eye-catching, right this moment women human beings because of fact they are able to truly get what they are able to't have. in the event that they have been right this moment it does not be so extreme because of fact each and every guy has a tendency to charm to a honest share of the choice intercourse at a while or yet another. the actuality that gays are deprived by using being in a minority they seldom ever get the "Prince Charmings" or "Abercrombie fashions" that the females...whom they secretly opt to be can relatively get.

guys like this zone in on weak minded women that allow them to have their cake and eat it too, don't think him blowing up means he cares about you, him throwing a fit is all a part of the mind games he plays, dont confuse it with love or even jealousy, he's manipulative, you dont need that kind of drama

GAME-PLAYER! He can't have the best of both worlds and needs to realize this! If he wants to be with you monogamously he needs to commit to you 100% but if not then he has to let you see other people also. No commitment means no commitment.

Then cut the cord. One can not have their cake and eat it too and if he doesn't know that then it might be time to just say adios.

My opinion is that us girls trust our guys fully to let them or have them hang out with a group with girls in it when we're not there. At least I would trust my guy (if I had one. lol) enough to let him hang out w/ girls on his own without me watching over him. =D
