I have a strange pain in my shin. It feels bruised, but it's not, and I don't reember injuring it. It hurts a little bit to walk, and when pushed on is painful.

What is this, and how can I heal it?

Have you recently been doing more leg exercise than normally? You may have 'shin splints'.

Ibuprofin may give immediate relief, but use it as directed (NOT on an empty stomach, since it can damage the lining of your stomach).

Quoting from wikipedia:
'Shin splints is a general term used to refer to a painful condition in the shins. Shin splints is often caused by running or jumping, and may be very slow to heal. Freestyle skiers often suffer from shin splints due to the stress on the shin while landing a jump. It is a common injury suffered by cross-country runners. There is no direct cure for shin splints; it heals with time and rest.'
