Try an inter-linear bible. (See the first link below).
You might also compare some of the more accurate word-for-word translations. I suggest looking at the KJV, the English Standard Version, the New American Standard Bible, and the American Standard (1901). (see the second link.)
Shy away from "thought-for-thought" translations and paraphrases. These can be heavily swayed by the understanding, or misunderstanding, (bias) of the translators' personal beliefs.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find you a modern Greek Bible on-line. Lots of ancient Greek ones, of course ... I have one right here next to me, too. But modern, sorry....
