Not on my VERY front tooth, but a couple of teeth over...this one tooth in my mouth has become ultra sensitive to sweet things. Chocolate seems to set off this painful sensation. A girl scout cookie hurt it pretty bad today...and frosting hurts it too! DAMN! What is it? I'm also having trouble biting down all the way because on the left side of my mouth it feels like my jaw is...swollen or something! Anyone have any ideas? My mouth is usually in pretty good shape...except for a mutated molar that had to get pulled a few years ago.

Its probley a cavity, you cant always see them...OR sense it hurts when you bite down, it might be an absess...you need to get to the dentist

Sweet sensitivity usually is due to a cavity. When in doubt, see your dentist.

Lol i kno what you mean though. Its because you eat too much sweet stuff. cut back on that stuff and brush more. i usually brush once a day and eat quite a bit of sweet stuff, so i know what you mean, like i said.

i would need more info to answer the jaw question. the other is most likely a cavity. you cannot always see them, but the dentist can.

You may need a root canal or you could have an abscessed tooth.
