Is there anyone out there who has found a home-made toothpaste that works better for them than store-bought toothpastes? If so, pls. include the recipe, and tell me why you like it better! Thanks!

(-: Why would I kid? There are many home-made remedies that work waaay better than commercial products. For example, using a vinegar rinse to get rid of dandruff works great for me, while dandruff shampoo just makes me itchier.

I like the minty-fresh of toothpaste, but if I can get clean, white teeth for pennies, why not?

baking soda, salt, peroxide and ground mint (for flavor) mix into a thick paste. Gets your teeth clean and helps minimize chances of gingivitis or periodontal disease.

Baking soda works really well, also if you find yourself without a tooth brush you can moisten your finger and dab a little table salt on it and scrub your teeth.
