Has anything ever made you so mad that you wanted to punch a baby? Atleast read this before you report me?

Question

I just found out the girl I have been with for 5+ years, have a child with has been f'ing another man. The thing is, I talked her out of having an abortion because I am pro-life. We were together for 3 months when we ended up pregnant. I have never walked away from my responsibilities. Matter, of fact I have completed four years of schooling in three and am going to grad school this fall. Done everything in the best interests of our new family. Life is fun.

No, not my baby.

I would never harm a baby or any other child. I have way too much to lose and plus it is just wrong. The child is mine. No springer stuff. The punch the baby was a way to lure people into my question.

I'm sorry your girlfriend has betrayed you. You still did the right thing by letting your child live. Children will make life fun too. Look, you seem resourceful and intelligent. You got everyone's attention with the punch a baby thing. Enjoy your child and school. Figure out if this relationship is over and move on. You will meet someone new and have a great life. You should be p/o'd; I'd be, too.
You should sit her down and tell her that you have a child together, and its high time she stopped acting like a 15 yr old and started acting like a mother. I cannot stand women who do this; they need to be the hell at home with their child, not out acting like a slut. I think some "women" treat having babies nowadays the exact same as when you go to the pound a get a puppy. The novelty wears off and now she needs to run around to find something thats more fun and less work, I suppose. What she needs is a good kick square in the ***.

Ok your girl is cheating on you and what does that have to do with the baby? I am confused the way this reads the baby is yours. Or is that you just found out it isn't yours well either way I still don't see why you would want to punch a baby.

I understand being that mad. Please remember what you know from your pro-life beliefs: whatever happened, the baby is innocent. I counseled a young man whose girlfriend (he thinks) got pregnant from another man, yet he chose to bring up the baby. It's very much like an adoption. We adopted our daughter, and we could not love her more if she was our biological child.

So, my hat is off to you, though you are in a very tough situation. Cry out to God, and He will stand with you. I am praying for you. And please don't take these insentitive clods here personally. Being mad enough to punch a baby and actually punching a baby are two entirely different things; and it takes transparent honesty to admin that he's feeling such strong feelings.

I don't think staying with her is necessarly the best road. You sound really stressed out...with good reason. The woman sounds like a ho. Hit her instead of the baby.The baby is more a victim than you. Be on the baby's side.Try to find a way to get her out of your lives. Ask for help from family,friends,church or social services.And before you get so stessed out that you hit the baby...just walk away.Even if it if forever.And if she wanted an abortion,she may not even fight you for custody. Lots of other options. Good luck!

I have spanked my son a few times that was a bit too hard. I didn't leave any red marks or bruises. But my palm hurt so I know his butt hurt more. And I did loose it once that I spanked him 6 times in a row. I cries the whole time. I had to go in the bathroom and shut myself in there and just cry to keep myelf from getting more out of control. That was the last time I ever spanked him. But I never wanted to punch a child or do anything else to injury a child. Is the baby yours? Are you angry at the baby for 'getting in the way'? Do you think you and your girlfriend should get couples' counseling? You posted this in the religious section. For a reason? Talk to a spiritual director? Good luck!

I understand you, you must be very angry, but I think that if you want to punch someone, you shoud punch the woman, break a glass of her car, I dont know. And also the other man, but not the baby. Its not his fault, poor boy only knows you. Dont do anything stupid, and dont worry about this woman. She will get what she deserves in life for her behavious, and also you will, for saving that baby's life when she wanted an abortion and caring for him during his life.

So, what's your point? You're talking about how "life is fun," but you start out with being so angry that you want to punch a baby? Either you're missing something in the translation or your just senseless. You should be reported, but not for the initial, apparently, mindless question. I feel sorry for both children.
