No, but only because I don't have a dishwasher. If I had one, I would definately try it. I do, however, have a recipe for cooking salmon in the dishwasher. Here it is:
Salmon in the Dishwasher
Submitted by: Zuzu
Rated: 4 out of 5 by 40 members Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 40 Minutes Ready In: 50 Minutes
Yields: 4 servings
"Salmon filets seasoned with salt, pepper and dill weed, with a splash of lemon juice. Wrapped in a foil packet and cooked in the dishwasher."
INGREDIENTS:
4 (4 ounce) fillets salmon
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and ground black pepper to
taste
1 teaspoon dried dill, or to taste
3 tablespoons fresh lemon
juice
DIRECTIONS:
1. Tear off 4 sheets of aluminum foil, large enough to wrap each steak. Grease one side of each piece of foil.
2. Place one salmon filet on each and drizzle a little olive oil on top of each piece of salmon. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and dill weed to taste. Drizzle a bit of the lemon juice over each piece of salmon.
3. Wrap up the steaks, carefully sealing each foil packet. Test each packet by pressing on it. If air escapes, re-wrap it. Put on the top rack of the dishwasher and run for a full cycle, with heated drying. Salmon will be done when the dishwasher runs the full cycle.

It might be possible to cook potatoes in a dishwasher, but it would be difficult. Commercial dishwashers will heat the water to 180 degrees, but most home dishwashers don't get above about 140 degrees. You really need more heat that this. Besides, cooking potatoes in a pan on the stove is much more efficient, and faster.

take the potato and put it in the microwave for 1:30-7:00. That should be a good amount of time.

No, but I melted a bar of soap in the microwave. I saw them do it on a science program...now I can't get the smell of scorched goat's milk soap out of my microwave. I should have used Ivory but I didn't have any, so I used the goat's milk soap. I hate the smell of it now.

No, but I have ironed grill cheese sandwiches for my kids when they were little, but the irons now won't let you lay them flat long enough. just make the grill cheese & cover both sides in foil & iron.

I havent tried this, but I dont think I would. Sounds kind of gross. But for those of you who have tried this and liked it... more power to you. I've never heard of anything like that.

It always overcooks them, and turns to mush on the bottom of the washer. . . . i should try a lower setting and maybe some different soap. .. .
