Soaking and careful cleaning is the best thing for keeping foot odor down. A hot tube with Epsom salts (VERY cheap & sold at Wal-Mart or any drug store) works well, but you can use any soap. Also pick up a few orange sticks. They are wooden sticks made especially for cleaning nails. Once you've let your feet soak for a while, use the orange stick to clean under the nails, and use a soft brush to clean all the skin (including, and especially between the toes). You may notice dead cuticle near the bottom edge of your nail. Use the orange stick to rub it off, but don't remove anything that didn't soften during soaking. Then let them soak for a few minutes more. Once you're done, rinse and thoroughly dry your feet... especially between the toes. If you're really concerned, you can buy a natural crytal deodorant stone at any health food store. Rub it over your entire foot. Between the toes too. Unless you've got some type of infection, like athelete's foot, it should end your foot odor problems.

1. Wash them every day and dry well ( very important to dry to stop bacteria from reproducing).
2.Wear cotton socks or preferably open-toed shoes.
3. Do not share shoes with anyone at all!
4. Use a athlete's foot powder or any other powder to trap odors and to prevent from sweating.
5. Try to get a prescription cream from the doctor or ask your pharmacists about a good athlete's foot cream that is sold over the counter.

Wear cotton socks not nylon because your feet need to breath, wash your feet often and go bear foot as much as possible. After you wash your feet with normal bar soap moisturize them with a lotion that has peppermint in it, it will help sooth and mask the smell.

This might be a shot in the dark here, but I've used a mineral stone for my underarms for years and never have odor. I've thought it might be just as good for foot odor too, but never needed it for that personally. It's only around $10 and lasts for a year.

keep them dry. after having a shower sprinkle some powder in the bottom of your bed sheets, and keep powder in your shoes, and apply the powder to your feet when you are not wearing shoes, or not in bed. Gold Bond Medicated Foot Powder works great.

Feet get a lot of wear, and they lose a lot of skin cells. Those dead cells must be SCRUBBED off of the skin, using a lot of soap. They need to be scrubbed on a regular basis. Simple standing in the shower and letting the water rinse your feet off isn't enough. SCRUB them, and the smell WILL go away.

I have this problem occasionally, especially if I am on my feet all day.
Besides the usual hygienne tips mentioned on thispage, thry rubbing your feet w/ rubbing alcohol. Not often, not too much. It sure makes them feel good.
If you wear heavy shoes or boots, try white socks.

uhhhhh...wash them, use foot powder, change your socks regularly..(like a clean WHITE pair daily). put foot powder in your shoes. If that doesnt work...see a podiatrist. Most foot odor is caused by sweat and bacteria..You may have athlete's foot disorder...Not a major problem. You can get over the counter creams to take care of it also.
Good luck.
