Ok so last weekend I meet this guy, we had a few drinks and talked mostly all night. We both seemed to be getting along just great I even thought I could go out with him again, that was until he offered me to go back to his place. You see, I've been out of the dating loop for almost 5years, so I don't know if this is what I'll have to be dealing with as I start dating. I'm sure he meant sex.....rigth? what else could it he have meant. I've been in 2 serious relationships both very longterm, I know myself & know I wouldn't sleep with someone I don't know. Should I blow him off? of give it another try?

use your best judgement. explain to him your position. if he wants more, he'll blow you off immediately. if he wants you as a person, he'll be more than happy to take the time to get to know you.

Be honest with yourself and your feelings first and foremost. Then, if he interests you, call him and ask him out. Be honest with him and tell him you are a little "gun shy" when it comes to dating because you've been out of circulation... When you do meet, tell him nicely, that you're not really interested in being a "friend with benefits" and would prefer to keep things slow and easy.... A "Friend with benefits" is someone you have mutual sex with for the sake of having sex, nothing more, nothing less, no connection....

You'll do just fine. Just go out and be yourself...
