If you mean does it snow in the CBD I haven't seen that happen since I've been living here (4 years). It often snows on Mt Wellington in winter and early spring. People who have lived here all their lives tell me that it used to be colder and that the mountain was snow capped for weeks on end sometimes. Now however it usually melts in a couple of days. Put that down to climate change.

Yes it does! The whole place is in the shadow of Mount Wellington and thats definitely a cold snowy place. While someone suggested an average of 4 degrees or something that hasnt stopped the snow from falling because I have seen it for myself.

Not really . The average minumum temperature is around 4 deg.
Snow is very occasional
