Ok, Mom &/or Dad...
You adore your kid(s), you think they are smart, funny and the most amazing humans on the planet, but you can't brag about them to the other parents because... well... you just can't.
So here is a forum for you to do so. Shout it from the rooftop! Tell me what makes YOUR child (children) so utterly unique!
My 7yr old daughter reads at a 5th grade level, she is a champion rock climber, is sweet and funny, very intuitive, thinks we (her parents) are better than video games, wants to donate all the money in her piggy bank to the World Wildlife Fund, has her own opions about the war (we're pretty proud of her for that one!), and most of all, other people think she's really cool too.
So again, tell me about your child.. brag!!!! You deserve to!!!

my son is so bright and i don't mean he is just really smart. he lights up a room. he's 9 and he thinks everything i say is true .it's so funny because his dad is never right just me. he is so funny that i have to say that is one of his best qualities and he makes me slow down. like I'll ask for help with something and he just wont rush and right before i yell at him I'll look at what he's doing and stop . he'll be putting away the dishes and be playing the whole time . really enjoying the moment and i stop and walk away so he can finish at his own pace he loves everyone so much and he asks the best questions about everything. i always answer as truethfully as i can. i hate that the questions have changed from what color is this to where do babies come from. he trusts me so much that i find myself worried that I'll do the wrong thing. people say that he acts so grown and so nice. he's always been that way. and he has the best imagination.he wants to invent things like time machines and new kinds of tires that wont go flat. his brain is always on. he goes to bed at night and i wish i could keep him up or that i was not so tired so that we could have more time together. he always hugs everyone and i thank God for him everyday. he wants to be so tough. and i just want to tell him to stop the growing up thing and be a kid a little while longer. he has had a girl friend (my best friends daughter) scence he could crawl. they use to go under tables and talk baby talk and now we live 2 states away and they still say that they are boy and girl friends. all he wants to do is get married and have kids and be in a band and be a volunteer fireman and fly jets. that's all and he said to me just today that he can have 7 jobs cause there are 7 days in the week. so cute. that was just son #1 son #2 just turned 8 months old and he is so different from my first. he already wants to do everything on his own like he's never let me feed him anything. he held his bottle at 2 months and besides breast feeding him that is the only time i get to do it. and as far as baby food he has always fed himself that too.he holds the spoon and turns it upside down and uses his tooth to get the food off. he smiles all the time and he gets so mad so fast then it's over.i hold his hands and he walks everywhere . that's how we know what toys he wants and what he wants to do. he's learning baby sign language and already has like 4 signs down. he loves to walk and kick stuff . i have high hopes for soccer latter. my first went undefeated and i just bet my second will too. where my first is soft and sweet my second is sure of himself and determand. all these good qualities in two kids ! they are both so cute they look like twins . you can not tell the baby pictures apart . and my second is going to walk before he crawls . he wont stay on his belly. and he just will do anything to get what he wants . I'll probably be on here latter saying help my son wont listen, but at least he seems to know his own mind and i know grown men that can't say that. he is just so special and so much like me in everything he does. he even likes dad a heck of a lot. just like me. when he comes home at night both boys are all over him and he told me latter this evening how they make him feel like getting up and doing his best everyday. they make us better people just by knowing them. they made my husband and i so much stronger in everything we do. i don't know how many people still put there families totaly first . you hear all these bad sad stories. i know the reason we do though and they are sleeping right now safe and healthy and i know that is all i ever wanted out of life .like i said i thank God every day for those 2 little boys. they saved my life

My 6 year old is about the sweetest kid ever, he was telling me about the "boss" in his class and how the kid isn't very nice all the time. When I asked why he wasn't boss he said "because to be the boss you have to be bossy and not always nice, I like being nice." He lost every game of soccer he played last year and managed to enjoy every game anyway. He is a Gold Belt in tae kwon do and going to his first tournament next month.
My 2 year old has the best sense of humor and can make you laugh just by looking in your direction. He loves his little brother and every morning he wakes up he finds his brother and tells him "good morning baby" and gives him a big hug.
My 10 month old is the happiest baby ever, he smiles for no reason and everyone says he has the most beautiful eyes. Even when he's sick he's good. He has been admitted to the hospital twice and the doctors always laugh because he just doesn't look or act sick, even when he really is.
My kids are the great...they even sat at TGI Friday's for two hours last week so we could have dinner with friends and none of them acted up...not even once!

This is a great question. My daughter has been joyful since birth. She's got an old soul and is deeply sensitive and kind. Last Christmas she volunteered to chop off all her hair and donate her ponytail to Locks of Love. She loves giving to needy people more than anything (she's only 7).
She's an artist (colors a mean picture) and a warrior (orange belt in ju-jitsu). She's an angel and a blessing. She's beautiful, intelligent, funny, charming, well-mannered, and refreshingly down-to-earth and pleasant for a child these days. Everyone who meets her just loves her. She is a gift, and every day I am grateful that she's mine.

My six year old was sight reading ten words at the age of two. He wants to be president when he grows up, and walks around the house humming hail to the chief. He is very insightful, and incredibly intelligent. He is also funny. A while ago we were talking about the dodgeball game they played at school today. I told him I didn't like dodgeball when I was a kid because it seemed like the kids threw the ball harder at me than each other. He said, "Hello...it's called DODGE- ball! You dodge it! Another one that really got me was on the first day of school he came home and said, "guess what?! We have a library at my school, but guess what we call it?" He had pronounced the difficult word perfectly. He made air quotes with his fingers and said "we call it the Li Berry." Okay, One more. It rained the first week of school, so my son took all of his rain gear to school, but was concerned about where he would store it when he got there. When he got home, we discovered that the problem was solved. He said, "you don't have to worry about my umbrella- we have hookers to hang it on!"

Well our kindergartner is starting to read. She tries so hard. She never gets in trouble at school and everyone likes her. She has the biggest heart ever. She loves everyone and everything. Our 2 year old counts to 13 and knows all of the colors. She is also very loving. She likes to hug people and she loves babies. Not just human babies. She hugs everything little. One time she hugged a little tree. She is so funny. She makes everyone laugh. Both of our girls are beautiful and very smart. I would not change them for the world.
Congrats on your daughter. She sounds wonderful.

Wow. That's hard to top!
My daughter is 19 months old, knows almost all the colors (the only ones she doesnt know are the harder ones like teal, tan, etc). She counts to 5 no problem and has counted to 8 all by herself on 2 occasions. Her pediatrician told me she has VERY advanced speech for her age; and shes even saying some things that some kids cant say until 4 years old (I know this because my brother and sister both have a degree in speech pathology). She has the most beautiful blond curly hair, blue/gray eyes, and dimples when she smiles. And her ears stick out just the tiniest bit which I think is adorable. She can point out and name characters in her books and can read the words if I say them first. She also knows a lot of animal sounds. Cat, dog, lion, snake, bear, sheep, bird, duck, baby (wah), her nose says honk, cow, horse, etc. She just learned mouse today. She loves being outside and chooses to play with a stick outside than play with her mountains of toys inside (which I think is a good thing). She also loves to swing at the playground. I put her in and she says, "Ready? Go!" and laughs her butt off when shes starts swinging. She loves to dance too. Whenever she hears music she starts moving her feet and shaking her butt. And shes so lovable. Daddy usually goes to bed before she does because he gets up early for work. She waits till she knows he must be asleep and then she'll tiptoe in there and stroke his cheek and give him a kiss. It's so cute. He always wakes up and says, "Love you baby. Night night." and she says "Lovoo, nigh nigh" and runs out of the room giggling. She also helps unload and load dishes into the dishwasher, helps me with laundry (she gets them out of the dryer and I fold them) and helps me with sweeping. She has her own little broom to sweep with. She charms everyone. We'll go shopping and she'll smile at everyone and say hi. Even if that person was frowning before they just have to smile when they see a cute little girl smiling and waving at them.

My daughter is only 16 months old. Yet she knows how to say 32 words, yes I count them, lol. She knows how to count to 3, she knows sign language, She cleans up her toys and helps me with the dishes, loading and unloading the dishwasher. She also can tell when I'm in need of a hug or kiss and will give me one as well as say "I Love You".
