I dated this boy for about a month. We got along so well, everyone loved us together. He gave me the most romantic valentine's day ever as well. He spent 100 dollars on dinner alone. Well, after our valentine's day date, he didn't kiss me. On his way home from dropping me off, he told me he regrets not kissing me. We hang out the next day, and he kisses me. The day after kissing me, he tells me he regrets kissing me and doesn't want to date me anymore ((it was just a peck kiss)). Well, 3 weeks later, he tells me he wants to go out on another date with me again...but we never set a day...and it's been a week since he said he wants another date. And yet nothing has been set.... But yet we hang out every weekend with friends ((We have the same group of friends)) and we always go to church together...Am I holding on to something that's not there?

To me, it's clear that he may just want you for a specific reason if he already said that he doesn't want to go out with you anymore, then that's it. Period. You are done. If he wants you back, it's his fault for not wanting you. And there is nothing really going on if you guys don't really go out (on your own, not with friends).
