I am an Average Joe. I'm not a car expert so take my advice with a grain of salt:
I say the 4Runner for 2 reasons. 1 - I think it will maintain a higher resale value (or trade-in value) over the Tahoe. 2 - It should get better gas mileage than the Tahoe. It might only be 3 or 4 miles, but hey, 4 miles is 4 miles. In a 20-gallon tank that's 80 extra miles you'd get.

The Toyota 4Runner for sure! The 07 is really nice especially in the dark charcoal or white color! I test drove one and wow so smooth and the seats adjust perfect so that I dont feel so small in it! Its more classy and luxurious looking than the plain tahoe but thats just me. Good luck in your descion!

Tahoe, if you are going to buy a big vehicle, at least get one with space inside.
By the way, my neigbour has one Tahoe with 250,000 miles and still running.
What about thre Saturn Outlook or GMC Acadia,? 26 mpg, great looks and cavernous interior space.

Toyota 4 Runner. It is way more reliable, has a better resale value, and gets better fuel mileage. The only way I would get a Tahoe would be is if I needed to tow something heavy and didn't care about reliability, fuel mileage, or resale value.

I'd get the Toyota. Foreign cars are better made than American. And GM goes to s-h-i-t fast.
