Well, to the best of my knowledge try to find some Turks around and trust me some way somehow some of 'em already know how to play baglama or we call it saz more. If you know any Turkish community that means there is a hi-chance to find some one to give u private baglama lessons...

I think you cant find it in Virginia.
Try to learn it from books .
