Like on a first date. I've done this because I didn't know how the guy felt. But how does a guy perceive a hug? good or bad? or so-so?

where are you putting your hands when you're giving a guy a hug? If a woman gave me a hug and put her hand on my behind while she was doing it I would think that she's interested in me. If she keeps her hands high on my back then its just a friendly type of hug , the kind you give to your mother.

Honestly it really depends on the hug, theres a difference between a friendly hug, and a more than friendly hug.

hugs are always a good thing... as far as dates go.. depending on the guy... they might be expecting a kiss.... but hey... a hug is better than a handshake right?

it depends on how much d guy like dat gal..for me, i realy love to hug a gal..same goes wen d gal hugs me..u noe, d feeling of hugging really makes d heart feel so much better even wen u thought ur feeling gud..so, yeah, i wud think dat its great dat d gal i realy like gives me a hug on a first date..
