He is so cute. We wen't over to his house after we finished our science project. I really like him and I think he likes me. What do i do? Neither of us are dating but we didn't ever think of hooking up.My friends say to try it and go out with him, but now we feel so uncomfortable around eachother and I don't know what to do!!! I mean he is totally cute and we used to be great friends. I just don't want to ruin that if we start dating. If it doesn't work out, I think it might be my fault. We talk on the phone and are always talking to eachother on the computer. I think I am just afraid to get hurt. Anybody have any ideas to help me???

Stuff happens all the time...like attraction between two friends of the opposite sex ..and that attraction leading to sex. But assume nothing. Talk to him in person and let him know how you feel about the situation and get him to talk. Do not put any undo pressure on yourself to have a romantic relationship if you don't think it will work. However, if there is a proposal of something more and you both want to test the waters, make some ground rules..(take it slow, agree to stay friends if it doesn't work out romantically, and whatever other stuff you feel you need to cover.) Remember too, that no matter who you are with, when a relationship breaks up, someone is usually hurt if it turns out to be anything serious. That shouldn't keep you from dating, just try to make wise decisions about whom you choose to see. (oh, yea, and remember that 20 years down the road, you want to be married to your BEST FRIEND). Honey, if you've already slept with him, it's a bit late to worry about 'ruining' the friendship. Even one kiss can do that, and you two have already surpassed that one. The only thing you can do now is talk to him. If he doesn't want get into a serious relationship, then, drop it. Mabye things can go back to semi-normal. But, sorry, things won't be the same--EVER. It's what happens when friends have sex.

In life you have to take risks, and if you really do have feelings for him go for it. You will risk loosing the friendship you have, but it will be worth it! I went through the same thing a couple years ago, and i held back and didnt go for it and to this day i regret it. It may be a little akward right now, but talk to him about it and just be completely honest with yourself and him! Good luck with everything!

I'm a sophomore in high school. You college people need to keep yourselves in college! This girl I like has a boyfriend in effing college! Like seriously? I made out with her a few times now he wants to fight me? Seriously? What can you expect from a girl who thinks shes in love with you but also like others guys? Ok.... He always wanted to sleep with you. He was just scared to go for it. Now that its happened you may as well date it out. Just no you will not be friends for ever. You break up and split or stay fake "friends" until one you get with someone new. Bottom line is you were friends becuase he wanted to do you. Life lesson ; all guy friends want to f you. Unless they are gay.

honestly... i think you should just wait it out. be his friend. he'll let ya know if he wants to take the friendship to the next level. it would probably be a bit weird to start dating. being friends is sometimes better than lovers. i tried to date one of my best friends, needless to say it didnt work. and our friendship grew apart. we dont even talk anymore.
