Be as Christ-like as possible

Read Acts and Paul's letters. Paul was extremely gifted at relating to whoever he was with at the time. He made Jesus acessible to everyone by meeting them where they are at. It's great to discuss theologies and scriptures with bible scholors and serious christians but if you try that with a non believer they will shut you down faster than you can say Amen. But laugh, joke, earn some trust and respect then let your life witness for you. God will tell you when to share your witness. He will also give you the words-I promise. Just be yourself and let Christ's love shine through you. There is nothing more beautiful than a life lived for Christ -others will notice.

The best way you can witness is through your life! Let them see Christ is in you. Live and act in a way that makes them want to ask you what it is you have that they don't have. Then you can tell them about what Jesus did for you - and for them.

You could also invite them to some kind of church activity or outing - something to show them that being a Christian is the best thing in life!

In Christ,

Witness as the Holy Spirit leads.

You will know if God wants you to wittness to the unbeliever. The phraze about throwing pearls to swine was for those who consistently try over and over again to convert someone who doesn't want to hear about God. If it were not for wittnessing to unbelievers, what purpose would the believer have? That's a stupid answer... just don't? Whoever said that... to you I would ask " Why did someone talk to you about Christ and when or who took part in helping convert you?" How does anyone convert without hearing The Word? Rediculous. Trust God to let you know what and when to say it. Just don't be amazed or hurt if they don't accept what you said. Let The Spirit guide you and then let God water the seed you planted.

One day while i flipped the channels, I came across this great show called Way of the Master. the tv series is all about training christians to share the gospel the way Jesus did. Their methods are all bilblical and very easy to use.The website is wayofthemaster.com

1st) By Example

2nd) When opportunity comes.

3rd) Learn for yourself first. Then you can teach others.

ALWAYS: Speak what you know, not of what you don't know.

You don't want to look like you don't know what your talking about.

That way your words will be taken more seriously. The bible says not to practice what your going to say because the Holy Spirit will speak for you.

Your job is to spread the seed, God gives the increase. Put the word out there. Don't expect to convert anyone on the spot. It takes time for words of God to sink in. With a few words you might say, might bring someone in to Jesus, what someone else has been trying to get him to know.

God opens men's eyes, and hears that they may hear.

First, by your life "let them see your good works and glorify the Father who is in Haven"
Then, when it comes to words, VERY respectfully. Find out what their level of interest is, and don't go beyond that. It's up to you to try to create interest in them, not to stuff it down their throats. I believe that is what Jesus said when he called us "the salt of the earth". Salt creates thirst. Your life, and your way of talking, should create this hunger and thirst for righteousness and truth. Then, you will witness without even noticing it. People will be asking you questions.

Lead a life worthy of a Christian. People will notice (those that are ready). Be ready to accept their invitation to discuss, and steer them to a more learned person if needed.
You should be like a set of jumper cables in your trunk. Ready to be used, and give some one just enough of a boost to get going on their own.
It's not your job to "save" another person, but it is your job to give a shining example of a saved persons character.

The only true way to witness is by the way in which you live your life. Preaching and proselytizing will get you nowhere. Be a living example, not a mouthpiece.

I think the way ones lives should be a testament to who and what they are.
I am non-Christian and very secure with my spiritual beliefs. I think you should share with those who ask not anyone that isn't on the same path as you.
