How I wish there was.I can tell you this in all honesty. I am, a Veteran of WW2, and I swear on everything I hold Holy, that I would not take my dog to a VA Facility. Most of the Doctors can't make it in Private Practice and work for a salary; many of them are foreign with foreign credentials and are more than inadequate, they are disinterested and useless. The first time I went for what was laughingly called "a physical", i knew that I was better off out of the VA> The 'Doctor" took my pulse, listened to my heart took my blood pressure, asked my five questions and said see you in a years time. . I'm delighted that he did not do a rectal exam and check my Prostate. Doubt that he could have found it. In fact, this bozo wouldn't be able to find a rock garden up my rectum, complete with waterfall. He was dirty looking, his shirt smelled of sweat, and he hadn't had a hair cut in God knows how long.Best of all, he did not wear latex gloves. If you read the VA brochure on their VA Medical Services, you think that you are going into the Medical Facility in Bethesda, Maryland where the President goes for his annual physical. No way! The Hospital is dirty, the floors are dirty, the equipment is ancient, the Staff is indifferent and the place smells of urine. Please, if you are thinking of using a VA facility, go see it first, and talk to some of the patients, then run out and go some place else.

no, that would be like the government admitting that some of the hospitals they run give inferior service, and it would open them up to huge lawsuits.
