As many others have already told you,it is probably a floater but they DO know what causes them.
Floaters are "dead cells" in the viterous or jelly part of your eye.
Like fruit in partially gelled Jello, they will eventually settle.
As we get older. . somewhere in the neighborhood of 50,the viterous starts to shrink and as it shrinks it pulls on the retina. Hopefully the viterous shrinks and all you will see are the floaters/dead cells but if the viterous shrinks too fast or if when shrinking it should tear the retina,a retinal detachment is possible.
Yes,diabetics who do not keep their diabetes under control can experience more floaters than the average person.
Unless you notice what appears to be a "fire cracker" going off in your eyes,an appearance of a "curtain" being pulled down over your vision or a huge spray of dots. . .You are probably OK and the floater will eventually settle.

Sounds like you have what is called a "floater", appears in the field of vision. It is unknown what causes them...surgery is available and can sometimes help the problem, if you are willing and it is pretty bad.

Consult a specialist for eyes!

First, and most importantly, see your eye doctor.

It may be a "floater." Floaters are dead cells, & things that have gotten in your eye, but not out, and don't hurt. Everyone has them. Some of us see them, and some don't. Diabetics tend to see them more than others, but it's not a diagnosis of diabetes.

Again: SEE YOUR EYE DOCTOR!!!

Maybe you have "floaters", little things that you see, and that float in your eyesight, whatever you look at? Some look like little fibers or hairs, others are just dots? And they're grey or black? I have those. They suck, but it don't mean you're going blind or anything.

I have the same thing, it is from when I scratched my cornea. You might want to go to the optometrist. Andrew
