No, not always. But I'd have to say usually they do. It depends on what they were exposed to and when during the fetus development it occurred. Early identification can assist in remediation of some of the problems the children have.

yes. my niece is pretty much the most hyper thing on the planet as well as having learning disabilities in school. she has to take gymnastics to tone her down a bit - to get that energy down a tad. but yes, children exposed to drugs while in utero do have learning and behavior problems.

No, it depends on a lot of things, the type of drug, how much, and when it was taken during the pregnancy. It all depends, and even when things appear to be perfect some children have problems. The best thing to do is to raise a child in a safe and loving environment so that they have the best chance with what they have.

It's not the risk worth to take. My mom works with handicapped young lady of 18 1/2 who's mental mind is that of a two year old due to her mom's stupidity of using drugs.

no not always because the grace of God can protect them from that but my concern is what kind of drugs? if legal drugs like Tylenol then that is one thing if taken moderately and only when totally needed but if we are talking illegal drugs then I would hope that you will check yourself into treatment..do it for your baby, he or she deserves it...hopefully we are just talking about Tylenol or something mild and legal here

You bet your cotton socks they do! Drugs alter the formation of the brain and cause all sorts of havoc. Talk to your doctor.

YES! my cousin used mariguana while pregnant and her child has autism... her other kiddo is using some drug to keep him sleeping ALL DAY!...she was using some other drug who knows...bad bad
