Carry-On luggage is the kind that you can take on the plane with you and stow away in the overhead storage bins (these are just bins that are above the seat). You dont have to check these in but there is a weight and size limit. Usually the maximum size is about the size of a large backpack or small rolling luggage (i think, i havent flown in a while). The check in desk where you check in your regular luggage will tell you if it can be carry-on or if it has to go under the plane.

It is correct. Just a small bag you can carry with you and put either underneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead luggage compartment. Some airlines allow you to carry as much as 11 kgs but it woudl really depend on the policy fo the airline you are taking. Better inquire from your travel agent. Take note that just recently (don't know if they lifted it already) some airlines have restricted passengers from carrying with them more than 20 grams of lotions, creams and toothpaste with the carry on or handcarried luggage as a measure against some terrroristic acts. No liquids allowed.

Just to be sure, whatever you want to know about your flight, inquire directy from your air carrier. Airlines have different policies.

The carry on is the small suitcase, or backpack...or bag that you bring into the plane with you. It has to fit in the overhead bin (thats the area above your seat), or under the seat in front of you. Remember they have the liquid rules, so dont bring any types of liquid with you or they will take it away (no lotion, gel, water etc).

According to wikipedia.com:

As an example of the lack of standardisation some of the following airlines requirements are:

* Austrian Airlines - Hand luggage may not exceed 8 kg in weight or a maximum size of 55 x 40 x 23 cm.
* British Airways - One bag; 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (22in x 18in x 10in) [2]
* Jet Airways - Hand baggage dimensions vary according to the model of aircraft. [3]
* Malaysian Airlines - One bag; 115 cubic cm (56cm x 36cm x 23cm) or 45 cubic inches (22" x 14" x 9"), not exceeding 5 kg

You are right, it's a smaller bag that you can take with you on the plane. I don't think there is a weight limit but there is a size limit. They have to be small enough to fit in the overhead compartment on the plane. Hope this helps.

A carry on would be a purse or briefcase and a small suitcase. Check on the website of the airline you are traveling and see what the limitations for their carry-ons are.

verify on close by ranges and notice what they do for leases. some assist you to hire any gun on the wall for 5$ an hour. that is not 5$ for each gun, purely 5$ an hour and you will possibly be able to alter it out for any gun on the wall as many swaps as you prefer in that hour. whether, maximum ranges won't permit you draw your weapons from the holster on the fireplace line. that's the place human beings make errors. purely because of the fact the gun shoots remarkable and feels suitable does not propose that is going to cover properly or draw straightforward. My own adventure is that extra effective high quality weapons (something over 9mm) can get cumbersome and not straightforward to conceal. Wintertime its straightforward to conceal a weapon, yet once you prefer to hold interior the nice and cozy summer days a downsize is maximum oftentimes necessary. i might say that for hid carry a Ruger LC9 (9mm) or LCP (.380) are dazzling strategies. being waiting to hold your pistol on your pocket is remarkable! working around on your accepted errands with a extensive piece of metallic on the small of your back can get relatively uncomfortable, and that i'm not one to hold a gun around the front. those that prefer to declare a .380 is purely too small might desire to be reminded that James bond carried a .380 ;) additionally, abode protection is punctiliously distinctive than hid carry. 40 5 or shotguns are solid for the abode, yet while your not likely to hold it or won't be able to cover it than it defeats the point. i'm having a wager you would be happy with a .380 or small 9mm, and whoever, if all people, is on the receiving end will certainly be regretting their judgements to be in that place.

I bought a weekender bag at wall mart to use as a carry on and I never have any problems. I think mine is actually a gym type shoulder bag.

Tip: Something you should take in your carry on is a complete change of clothes, in case your luggage is lost.

Enjoy your trip

It IS a small piece of luggage. I don't think there's a weight limit, but it must be able to fit in the overhead compartment on the plane, OR under the seat in front of you.

Carry on can be a handbag, or a small suitcase, a backpack, or briefcase...it must be small so it can fit in overhead trunk or underneath your seat.
Best wishes and good luck
