IM SEEING THAT THERE IS A CERTAIN SELECTION OF PEOPLE WHO ARE ANSWERING THAT ARE TAKING THIS SIMPLE QUESTION OUT OF CONTEXT. IT WAS NEVER MY INTENTION TO PUT YOUR RELIGION UNDER QUESTION, I AM JUST ASKING PEOPLE WHAT THEY THINK OF THIS ISSUE THAT IS VERY WELL ALIVE IN TODAY'S SOCIETY. SO DONT CALL ME STUPID, AN UNBELIEVER, AND WHATEVER ELSE YOU HAVE UNDER YOUR SLEEVE BECAUSE I AS WELL IS CHRISTIAN, BUT A FRIEND BROUGHT UP THIS QUESTION AND I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT PEOPLE ON YAHOO ANSWERS THOUGHT.

As I have mentioned a few times now many of the top legal minds in history have come out in favour of the resurrection account being reliable testimony if presented in a courtroom. Please check out these refferences. Simon Greenleaf, Hugo Grotius, Sir Lionel Luckhoo, John Singliton Copley, Lord Caldicote, Wendell R. Byrd. There is a book which may be hard to find but it is called what leading legal minds say about the resurrection. There is another book called who roled the tone away. Plus a current bok called the case for Christ by Legal editor for the chicago tribune Lee Strobel.

According to the Library of Congress filing system, the Bible would be under BS, generally around 400-500.
According to Dewey Decimal, it would be in the 220 section.

You're basically asking the validity of Christianity. I think libraries have a seperate section for religious books.

I'd have to said either the reference section or the theology/philosophy section (I just put 'em together because sometimes libraries don't have boatloads of books on those subjects, which causes the two categories to be jammed together).

Some libraries have a HUGE Bible on it's own pedestal. The reference section is typical.

Probably in the 'reference' or 'religion' section.
Only novels and science-fiction books are in the fiction section. Any subject of study (and religion is one) is in the non-fiction section.
