No...
The answer is that when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden by consuming the forbidden fruit, their DNA was forever altered, altered to the point that this DNA introduction was passed on to their children’s children down to us. It is called SIN! I would submit that DNA is held together with strands of sin. Without sin, DNA today could not function properly. DNA is the sin carrier. Every abhorrent behavior listed in the Bible is pre-programmed into every persons DNA. Some may have more of a particular bend towards a particular sin but we all have it to varying degrees. The only salvation is the Spirit of God which renews the heart and mind to be separated from the flesh. Although this can never really happen until death, the Spirit of God enables us to live the life of obedience to God. Without the spirit it is impossible to please God. God is Spirit and those who worship him, worship him in spirit and truth. The flesh or the body as we know it will die and rot in the ground.

do you not think it is more likely that the stories of the bible were written about mans behaviors to use them as an example?
after all that is what the bible is all about isn't it? is it not supposedly a teaching tool, that is meant to guide us or warn us by the examples of those that feature in it?
"DNA held together by strands of sin" wow! a revelation to be sure.

Wow, Sam, I'm sure you mean the US. Of course the US is responsible for all the world's ills. You've solved the riddle of Genesis. The Americans are Adam and Eve. We are responsible for all the world's problems therefore it stands to reason that we are responsible for original sin. I bet we're really the serpent, yeah that would make us even more culpable for the world's terrible situation. Please write a book so we can appreciate your genius.

No all diseases are not caused by God.I agree with you. Most of our diseases are caused by our wrong selection of foods,
drinks and other materials we earned such as dirty or poluted air.God gives us the freedom to choose. But in the holyQur'an God spoke that He dropped the diseases but also He gave its medicines for curing it.So it is a challenge for humans to find out the right medicines for each disease..We should try try hard to recover ourselves from illness and pray to God for curing.God' spirit will cure us..

No God is not responsible. We have polluted the air/land he has given us. Chemicals etc. cause illnesses. We have gone further than probably any other country in destroying our environment. We are to blame for the mess we have made of our land, seas, rivers, waters, skies and air.

Wow, you really have to be ignorant if you listen to Hovind and think like that. That's just inexcusably naive.

False...Diet doesn't change DNA....No matter how much fast food I eat, my kids will still get "skinny genes."
Additionally, all-powerful beings should be held responsible for everything.
