Dear Sam,
It is always a good idea to check your references. As you have seen from others, God did not say that.

He did say many other things of interest. He does not "play favorites":
Acts 10:34 ...God is not one to show partiality but in every nation the man who fears Him and does what is right is welcome to Him."

So we see that God looks at the heart of man and not what is on the outside.

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slow about His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."

God loves us and wants us to live eternally with Him. The way that can happen is by knowing that we have all sinned (which separates us from God ) and we all need a savior. Jesus is that savior, He is the only way to eternal life with God in heaven.

He shed His precious blood on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin. By receiving, having faith in and following Him we have salvation - no matter who you are He wants us to turn from following our way and turn to follow Him. That is what repentance means.

If you have further questions along this line feel free to email me.

Sincerely, Redeemed

as in, "same rules apply". You sin, it's your fault regardless of race, religion, beliefs, etc.

and different doesn't mean unequal. 1/4, 0.25 and 1:4 are all different, but are equivalent. and I think how God does it is a soulish equilibrium:

your body's genetic structure allows you to be able to do certain things and process information in different ways, so God creates the soul to match the body; so a person who is genetically gifted with intelligence, atheleticism and craftsmenship may have trouble deciding, designing, or may be unintelligent in certain areas, as we do have multiple intelligences (musical, analytical, spatial, etc); so if you have +3 one the positive side, you'll naturally have -3 on the negative side to make it fair, though it may be the case of some things just coming naturally vs effort, or being a "jack of all trades, master of none" where you're okay at everything and superior at nothing (naturally).

We are equal in His eyes. He made us all to be different so we would unite. Some are good at one thing, some are good at another.. He did this so when we unite we can all help each other with our talents. If I can cook and you cannot, then I would cook for you. If you can fix things and I cannot, then you would fix things.for me. I believe this was the plan before the sin of rebellion entered the world.

As for fat, thin, etc. these are due to our own choices.

Skin color doesn't make us different. It just makes us look different.

Different does not mean inequal. I don't believe in God, but if two people are different looking or differently skilled, that doesn't change the fact that they both have equal rights and freedoms.

In the beginning we were of one race, we were scattered by god for trying to build a tower to heaven. We are all created equal in the fact of physical shape and learning capabilities, you can do what you have the will and tools to do it.

The phrase relates to equal legal rights.

I think it was Abraham Lincoln that said all men were created equal, not God.

God did not say all men are created equal. The US constitution said that.........God said that all men should be TREATED equal, big difference.

We are equal in God's eyes, but not genetically the same.
God doesn't favor white people over blacks; Americans over Chinese; etc.... We are all equal in his eyes-- but we are not exactly the same.
You must've misinterpreted that quote.
