I'm afraid of drowning or burning to death. I have faith in God but it still scares the hell out of me.

It seems to me that the thing to fear in life is anything to do with religion, most wars are either caused by religious beliefs or religious differences, practically all terrorist acts are done in the name of some faith or other, wouldn't` life be great if everyone was like me and analyzed the concept of there being a God and realized what a load of nonsense it all is, scientists have proven how we came to be here, without the fairy tale that is the Bible.

I have a fear of being in a moving car near water. My dad used to play with us when he was driving to the lake. He would get as close the the edge as he could and he would tell us he had no brakes. "as he was acting as if he was trying to push the brake". Now my husband gets a kick out of it when we are near water. I have my seat belt off and hand on the door handle. If he is going slow enough I will even open the door. When we are driving to fast that is when praying helps.

When my children were/are little I fear not being able to protect them from being harmed. I am very careful and watchful with my children. Not over protective, I am very aware of whats going on around them.

I fear God, so I don't need to fear anything else.
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love because He first loved us." (I John 4:18,19)

if you mean a phobia, no. natural fears, everyone has them. like you may say you're not afraid of lions, but then when a lion is mauling you and tearing every sinue of your flesh as easily as rice-paper, then you'll probably wet yourself.
so do I have fears? no. I have no need to. Besides, it's not like the devil is stronger than me anyway...
