scurvy is the break down of the collagen fibers in your muscles due to a deficency of Vitamin C... Apple juice has Vitamin C and would prevent Scurvy and stop the progression of it. If someone already had Scurvy there may be permanent damage that just eating vitamin C would help.

Unfortunately antioxidants is not the solution either. There is some evidence, that antioxidants in some cancers actually promote their growth. Research has found that cancer causing genes may themselves activate an antioxidant pathway resulting in protection of the cancer cells from harmful effects of "reactive oxygen species" (ROS). In fact some of the newest anticancer drugs work by inhibiting the activity of genes that act to reduce the concentration of ROS. So you could in fact argue that injection of antioxidants into a cancer may strengthen it rather than removing it. ETA: [I think they have the treatment to it...] Their problem would be to know for sure that they did. To know that, they would have to do a randomised controlled trial i.e. they would need patients. To find patients they would need to collaborate with doctors who treat cancer patients. And if their treatment worked, they would need to persuade the doctors not to use the treatment they had seen work wonders. It just doesn't happen. Alternatively you could speculate that the establishment suppresses research in finding a cure. Well - there are lots of reasons why the establishment really want to find a cure. Here are some of them: 1) Owners/employees (And their love ones) of pharmaceutical companies suffer from cancer too. 2) Pharmaceutical companies wouldn't lose money for finding a cure - They would increase their income considerably. 3) Also members of governments (and their love ones) sometimes get cancer
