For 2 kids i got $15 an hr and thats normal where i live but if you have them for the weekend you would need a little more just tell them that whatever they want to give you is fine and that way you wont feel like your asking for too much or too little and who knows they might give you more then what you expected!!! Good Luck Hope this helps!!!

Well, if they asked you how much you charge, it's not like you're telling them you want paid. To be polite I would just tell them, how about just a little spending cash for the kids so you can go on some fun activities with them. If they offer a big amount I would turn it down since they are family, but to accept a little bit just to pay for what it will cost you to get a pizza or go to the movies with the kids is ok.

think about how do the kids behave most twelve year olds are pretty responsible and can be a big help with the eight year old so you probably whodunit charge as much as you would for younger children .but you also got to think how long are you goning to be watching them and you are going to be watching them over the weekend so i think the weekend should be more then during the week because it takes away from your time and being family i would charge the same as i would any body else.

If it were relatives, I probably wouldn't charge anything. If it were friends' kids, I would probably only charge what it cost to have them there, like $20 for the food or any other activities.
If you really wanted to charge like a babysitter, I'd say $100 for the weekend plus money for activities, like movies.

I recently watched my 3 y/o nephew and 11 y/o niece for 5 days for nothing, but we're close, it's different in your case. I wouldn't want to charge too much since they're family. I would say $100.

Family, no charge. Not family, $200 total as a favor. For pure business, $400 total.

$20.00 each per day I know you guys are going to have fun order pizza play games etc. Most people charge about $20.00 for an 8 -10 hr shift.so $20.00 for a whole day is a good price.
