the nerve of the tooth died so the color is grayish and i want to know if there is a way to make it look white like the rest of my teeth.
would whitening help? (like the professional one done by the dentist)

Since the problem you're having is internal, the only way to whiten the tooth would be internally. Your dentist could make a small hole on the backside of your tooth and place a cotton pellet with bleaching solution (not your regular Clorox bleach, do not try this at home) in it for you to keep in for about a week, then they would remove it. If it needs to be lightened further, the process would be repeated. At the end of the treatment, the access hole would be filled in with tooth colored (composite) restorative material. If this process fails, pretty much the only alternative would be a porcelain crown or veneer. Best of luck to you.

I think you should go to the dentist and see what they think is best thing to do. I had the same thing and they just filled it in with same color of my current teeth, and I couldnt even notice it.

Just don't do it yourself, you need a professional.

whiting will not help. cap will be very expensive. a veneer would be your best bet and if you cant afford try a dental school

Why don't you cap your broken tooth, it will look perfect.
