this guy says the nicest things when im not around but as soon as i am near him he becomes very rude and obnoxious. does he like me and should i give him a chance?

yea, he likes you. Sounds like he's shy and insecure though. He dosen't think he's worthy of your attention so he acts like an *** to get your attention, one way or the other. I say if u like him make an effort to show him and give him a chance!

why you stressing over what guys like? instead spend time thinking what you would like in a guy.
guys like anything with a skirt ;)

you shouldnt ask him directly just tell him you know he says these nice things and it makes him sound sweet..he just doesnt know how to act around you

yeah he probably does...although his tactic is pretty strange...sometimes guys tease girls they like,or act different around them, he just wants to get your attention.go for it
