I know the problem. I have a snore-er too. My second one. His dad snored too. I poke them a bit when they are snoring, the usually move a bit and maybe the snoring will stop. Nudge them over so they change positions, sometimes it helps.
I happen to think it's one of those "endearing" qualities of dogs....

Snoring dogs is most commonly found in dogs with a short nose, but just like humans different animals can snore also. Sorry it keeps you up, but I don't think there is anything you can do about it.

Dogs can snore just a loud and as long as humans. I have two pugs who sound just like a sleeping adult. There is nothing you can do about the snoring, unless you want to talk to your vet about possible surgery.

yes, Yes my Pompeian/Chie mix snores, hogs the bed, sleeps on his back, has one eye, and I would never give him up. I will sleep in a barn full of animals to keep him then move into a place were he is not allowed. If I get real annoyed since I still live at home I throw him on my sisters bed. When he get desperate enough and I am not home and he has been doing this for the past two years and he is nine, he climbs on my dad belly and begs for food or to go outside. What love and I would not trade it for anything.

My maltese snores. Sometimes it wakes me up. I can't
beleive how loud it is for such a small dog. But once I'm
up I just watch her sleeping and she's happy to be snoring
away. She dreams to and that's something to see. She
makes funny noises. Some of the things they do are so
cute, but they can be annoying at times.

Some dogs snore just like people, unfortunately! If it's that bad, talk to your vet.
